It was reported that, as of October 8, 2019,
the 1990-1991 Historical Deed Project has
been completed. For the Voluntary, ,
indexing@gsccca.org, including a review of the submitted instruments with guidance for
indexing provided,
than 1,400 attending classes throughout the
state since March 2019. Regarding the Cer-
tified Deed Indexing area, 68 clerks and
deputy clerks have successfully passed the

Historical Deed Project
During a report on the Historical Deed Project,
the following information was provided:
From January 1, 1993, all historical deed data
has been collected from all counties.
From 1992, 87% of all deed data has been
collected.
From 1990-1991, 57% of all deed data has
been collected.
Historical deed data must be re-indexed to meet
current indexing standards, and administer the com-
pletion of the 1992 Historical Deed Indexing Pro-
ject based on the previous

from all 159 counties in Georgia, and to make
such indexes, are currently
participating in the Voluntary Historical
Deed Re-Indexing Project, with 2 of those, -
