GSCCCA has reached a significant milestone. Subscribers have exceeded one BILLION hits annually on the GSCCCA website. The process began in 1996, when the Georgia Legislature had the vision to establish this statewide deed index, and to standardize the content for the first time across the State's 159 diverse Counties. The statewide index has grown continuously in scope and value since going live on Jan. 1, 1999.

The wisdom of the Legislature is substantiated again in 2006, as the Authority exceeds the one billion hit mark. Over the past seven years, over 100 million images have been added to the system. In addition, lien and plat information has been added. We have maintained our low subscription cost, despite the phenomenal increase in available records, and the escalating costs of maintaining a secure and robust system to deliver the information.

The Authority values our subscribers who have contributed ideas and suggestions to improving the site for all users. Together we continue to grow the system and build on the Legislative vision.

David Williams
Executive Director
