Offender Based Tracking Reporting
Senate Bill 50 of the 2001 Georgia General Assembly requires that all Clerks of Superior Court electronically report the dispositions of criminal cases for the Georgia Offender Based Tracking System (OBTS). Per state law, electronic records must be transmitted to the GSCCCA in a form that can be consolidated and reported to the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC). This certification program attests to the fact that a county or vendor's case management computer system has been through testing to demonstrate that it is capable of exporting and transmitting the records in the prescribed format.
