Judicial Division:
Responsible for receiving, filing, computerizing, processing, storing, & retrieving civil & criminal records for courts of Lumpkin Co. Also provides support for all court judges through management of case files & attendance in court. You may obtain copies of or record of Civil Case Files, Criminal Indictments & Accusations, Subpoenas.
Real Estate Division:
Responsible for receiving, recording, indexing, & microfiliming all documents related to real estate within Lumpkin Co. You may obtain copies of or record of Real Estate Deeds, Miscellaneous Real Esate.
Personal Property, Liens, & Accounting Division:
Uniform Commercial Code (U.C.C.) section responsible for recording, processing, indexing, & microfilming of records serving as public notice that personal properties located with Lumpkin Co. (equipment, furnishing, etc.) have outstanding liens against them. Accounting section responsible for accounting in Clerk's office & for payment of funds into court registry. Also responsible for General Executions/Liens (documents directing Sheriff to seize properties to satisfy a judgement). You may obtain copies of record of Personal Property Records, Liens.
Business/Professional/Administrative Division:
Responsible for recording, processing, indexing & reproducing all documents related to BPA. In BPA you can register a Trade Name of a business, or apply for notary public commission. Court calendars, Search Warrants, & Indigent Defense information also recorded in BPA.
