eFiling Overview

Currently, the Clerks’ Authority offers electronic filing of UCC, Real Estate, Lien, Plat and PT-61 documents in participating counties. PT-61 eFiling is available on this site and can be accessed using the PT-61 eFiling Portal. To start filing other documents, go to Authority eFile, http://efile.gsccca.org, and complete the free registration. A complete Filer Guide, which takes the user step-by-step through the registration and filing process, is available under the Support tab. Once registered, users may begin filing immediately.

The Clerks’ Authority has developed eFile programs in an effort to improve the technology of the Superior Court Clerks' offices and to find new ways to streamline the document filing process at no cost to state or local government. According to its charge and legislative mandate in OCGA § 15-6-94, the Authority is to "develop, acquire, and distribute record management systems, information, services, supplies, and materials for superior court clerks of the state." The Authority recognizes that the adoption and use of electronic filing technologies may vary from county to county. Therefore, participation in this portal by a county is voluntary.
